Keyside is played over 3 years. Each year is divided into two phases: landing and resolving harbours. In the landing phase the lead player uses a die to move a boat into a harbour and then places a boatman, the die, and a worker into that harbour. Other players can join in. In the resolving harbour phase, the lead player chooses a harbour to resolve which contains one of their workers.
