The Fishmongers Creek

The game is called The Fishmonger’s Creek, a strategic and fun family game where you play as sport fishers who have discovered an untouched river and decide to hold a fishing competition.

Suddenly, a crazy fishmonger appears, claiming to own the very river you’re about to fish in. He tells you he plans to buy every fish you catch in exchange for gold—gold that you can then spend to move along his boardwalk. The player who makes it the furthest along the boardwalk after three fishing rounds wins the game.

He also offers you the use of his own “magical” fishing gear, and explains that the different fishing spots along the river each provide unique conditions and advantages.

The game is played over 3 rounds, with 8 fish per round, and every fish you reel in grants unique bonuses that increase your chances of advancing farther along the boardwalk.
