Firefly: The Game
Firefly the board game!
A game that moves easy in both commerce and gun play. The system is dominated by cards that gives you opportunity's as well as misgivings and failure. Dice is used to some extent but not always. Plenty of missions to do and places to got o, but also possibility to be naughty and get into trouble when tasks is not done.
Selecting a good versatile captain is essential for your games smooth flow. If you think with a gun and that is about it, you will soon end up in more problem than you can master.
A life bridge and a good ally is HARKEN the good guy police, he will get you and fine you when you are up to no good. But in the beginning he is quite good to have as a second resource!
5 distinct trade stations where you can raise your ships abilities as well as find new crew with some luck. All depending on if you want to run a bad boys game or is more inclined towards dealing and trade?
Cargo is basically passengers and/or cargo tiles. You can mix and take missions where several jobs will be done in the same trip. !! Don't forget to pay your crew!! or you will have a mutiny on your hand. Contraband or refugees is the same just flip the token and you have them in your cargo, more money and more trouble and fun.
At around $105000 in the bank you will probably not need more money to play with, but it's always good to have all the nice stuff :-)
A game well worth it's low price, superior aesthetics as well as very re playable. For in my mind also VERY IMPORTANT the SOLO play is superb.. Easy to work with and not rely much sacrifice's for lack of other players.
This game uses a lot of space to play and I mean a lot of it!

Another ship to play with
A speedy ship to start of with, ma by not as much cargo as you might hoped for or wanted. But a nice variety to the fleet of Ships available in the Firefly universe! Well worth having for a serious firefly

Firefly: The Game - Blue Sun (Exp.)
A suny expansion in deed
Just as the Firefly base game is a terrific base platform to work from the expansion Blue Sun seriously give you MORE of almost everything!
You need a big table to play firefly... and now it has to use it's extra expansions as well. The Blue Sun adds in more space.. reaver space as well as border space.. Additional traders as well as additional places to trade and buy stuff. The expansion of cards is marked so if you want to separate out all expansions from the base game it's easy to do.. I simply love this game and Blue Sun does not fail in fulfilling my hopes for an expanded space!
When dealing with this as well as other space expansions remember that you will fly a lot! And I mean a lot! You can have at lot of people as well as cargo to transport long distances an then a stronger engine than the startup 5 step per burn is nice to have! You will spend a lot of time anyway in space flying. For a SOLO game I find Firefly in general and this expansion in particular a true enjoyment..
Introduced in this expansion is also the Mr Universe who gives you extra challenges on top of the missions you taken aboard.. in my test game I stayed with this as a extra burden. But you can also use the new tokens that both Reavers as well as Alliance leaves after their ships.. they automatically cause a encounter.. YUCK! In my philosophy for playing SOLO I like to let the closest RAVER always walk towards me and the same regarding the Alliance ships. They travel slowly towards me and every time any mention that player on my right should move the Reaver or Alliance ship.. I move it 1 step closer where my ship is, after some time you can feel the pinch, less and less space is easy to travel through... Remember Reaver ships do not leave the Reaver or Border space, I use the big cruiser to work only in the Alliance space.Skriven 2018-04-27 av: Miraculix, betyg = 10

More game small investment
If you like variety in your missions as well as a big overhaul of the equipment that is available.. I love this simple expansion of 50 cards especially since I play a lot SOLO I fell more inclined to play when the re playability is high and the Jobs is plenty both legal and illegal or immoral ones. Superb variety and a great way to inexpensively add to the game.

Another nice ship!!!
A standard speed ship to start with, a lot of cargo as you hoped for or wanted. Another very nice addition and variety to the fleet of Ships available in the Firefly universe! A ship can't be better than the captain allows it to be :-)
