Into the Maw is the third in a series of four “Valley Expansions,” following Spire in Bloom and Shadow of the Storm, which released earlier this year.
Like all the expansions in this series, Into the Maw adds new locations and paths to explore, people to meet, missions to accomplish, and rewards to unlock.
In this expansion, the Rangers are tasked with investigating the ancient biomeld know as the Terravore. To do so, they must venture inside the earth-eating behemoth and explore its labyrinthine anatomy. Each Valley expansion can be incorporated into the narrative campaign included in the Earthborne Rangers base game or can be played as their own mini-campaign.
