Better letters is played in 6 rounds. Each round, a growing grid of word rule cards are made. Within 60 seconds, players come up with a word that uses a many of those rule cards as possible. The more you use the higher your score. If you use the same rule card another player uses, your score will be reduced.
Scores can increase due to bonus tokens and using most of your own tokens.
Finally, personal goals add to your score when you complete them.
All in all, better letters is a new type of word game.
