Battles of Napoleon

NG International announces the release of the board game Battles of Napoleon - The Eagle and The Lion, the first game of a new series that will allow to recreate the tactics and operations of this period, based with an efficient, quick and easy-to-learn gaming system and historical accuracy.

In this game, players will assume the role of a commander-in-chief of the French and English armies, facing the same tactical problems that commanders of the Napoleonic era had to face. Well-coordinated use of infantry, cavalry, and artillery, plus skillful maneuvering of your units, and understanding your troops strengths and weaknesses, are essential in leading your army to victory.

With more than 200 miniatures in 1/172 scale, modular hexagonal playing boards, cards, counters and markers, Battles of Napoleon - The Eagle and The Lion features ten separate battles, with everything needed to recreate many of the major clashes between the French and English armies - traditional enemies - on the battlefields of Belgium, Spain and Italy. Each battle is described in a scenario that defines the game board layout and where to set up (deploy) units and commanders, the order of battle the duration of the game (in turns), special rules and victory conditions.
